LOVE DAD, MOM AND SISTER!!!!

So on 12/29/95 a son was born. A very sweet cute son. With a lot of medical baggage in tow. And his life has just begun. He was born with a cleft lip and palate. His first surgery was on 2/14/1996. A day I will never forget. The best and worse day of a Mommy's life. The day he got his sweet smile and the day he had to be put to sleep to get that smile. The air was thick with worry and fright. But he made it threw and 8 months later we did it again. And so life begins. For him many trials and tribulations, for mommy many joys and fears and delight of things to come.   He has always had trouble going number 2 so being 6 months old we are  having to give him enemas and such.Life for him was hard yet easy. We spent alot of time at UNC chapel hill. We have been going there since he was 1 month old. We know the place like the back of our hands. At two yrs of age he told me how to get there. And still does. He has come a long way  fighting his way threw all the stuff. Constipation, Rumination syndrome. Gerd, GAD, Aspergers syndrome,migraines, glasses and major dental problems. And the list goes on. He has come a long way and still fights to get threw each day. Life has been hard but with God on our side he gets threw it and gives God all the glory. Iam a proud mother of a fifteen yr old and happy that today alot of the medical baggage is just that. Yes he still has trouble but he can handle it much better now. He has been a HUGE blessing in our lives and I wouldn't trade one moment in time for anything. Happy Birthday my sweet SON may God bless you now and always.
